From Battery Manufacturing to Battery Engineering.
SES was established in 1991 in Ambala Cantt, Haryana, with a clear objective: to manufacture dependable battery solutions in India to demanding standards of quality and consistency.
What began with conventional battery technologies progressively evolved into specialised rechargeable power systems and, later, advanced Li-ion battery packs incorporating battery management electronics, communication, application-specific mechanical design and intelligent charging.
Today, SES is a specialist battery manufacturer, with particular focus on medical and healthcare batteries and OEM smart Li-ion battery packs, while continuing to support demanding defence and industrial applications.

At SES, battery development and manufacturing operate as one continuous engineering process. From cell selection and battery architecture to BMS configuration, mechanical integration, assembly and validation, our teams develop solutions around the actual requirements of the equipment they will power.
Core engineering, electronics integration, production and final validation are carried out within our own manufacturing environment, allowing engineering decisions to remain connected to manufacturing reality.

We start with the equipment — its load profile, environment, mechanical constraints, communication requirements and expected service life. The battery is engineered around the application, rather than the application being forced around an existing battery.
Manufacturing Ownership
Engineering decisions remain closely connected to production. Battery engineering, electronics integration, assembly, testing and final validation are managed within our own manufacturing environment.
