Reducing Our Operational Impact

SES is progressively improving energy efficiency, resource utilization, water management, waste segregation, and manufacturing practices across our facilities. Where technically and commercially viable, we evaluate renewable energy and lower-impact technologies as part of our long-term operational planning.

Regenerative Power Testing
Charge and discharge testing of cells and battery packs is one of the most energy-intensive activities in battery manufacturing.
SES uses regenerative power supplies and test systems that return energy to the grid or internal power network during discharge instead of dissipating it as heat. This significantly reduces power consumption and supports our commitment to energy efficiency.
Responsible Materials & Circularity
SES segregates manufacturing waste and works with registered recyclers and authorized waste-management partners for the collection, recovery, recycling and disposal of batteries, electronic components, metals, plastics, packaging materials and other regulated waste.
Our EPR arrangements support responsible end-of-life management and help ensure recoverable materials are directed back into approved recycling channels.
Clean Staff Commute
We operate organized car pooling for staff commute using an electric vehicle for pickup and drop.
This initiative reduces individual trips, lowers fuel consumption, and contributes to cleaner air and a smaller carbon footprint.
Responsible Supply Chain
The reliability of a battery begins long before assembly. We work with qualified suppliers for cells, electronic components, metals, plastics, interconnects and other critical materials.
Supplier selection considers quality, traceability, regulatory compliance, technical capability and long-term reliability.
