Sealed Energy Systems® Battery Pack Warranty Policy
Our Commitment
Every battery pack manufactured by SES carries a product warranty that reflects our confidence in our materials, our assembly process, and our validation standards. We stand behind what we build, and we make the warranty process straightforward when it needs to be used.
Warranty Period
SES battery packs are covered under warranty for a period communicated at the time of quotation or order confirmation, based on the pack type, application, and agreed supply terms.
For standard OEM packs, typical warranty periods range from 6 to 12 months from the date of dispatch. For medical-grade packs supplied to healthcare OEMs, warranty terms are confirmed in writing as part of the supply agreement.

What the Warranty Covers
- Manufacturing defects in cell assembly, welding, and pack construction
- BMS or protection circuit failures not caused by external misuse or out-of-spec operation
- Premature capacity loss below 80% of rated capacity within the warranty period, under the specified operating conditions confirmed at order stage
- Connector or cable failures attributable to a manufacturing defect
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
- Operation outside the specified voltage, temperature, or current limits for the pack
- Physical damage from improper installation, handling, dropping, or storage
- Exposure to water, moisture, or chemicals beyond the pack’s rated ingress protection
- Modifications, repairs, or alterations carried out without SES’s prior written consent
- Normal, gradual capacity fade within accepted industry tolerances across cycle life
- Use in applications other than those specified and agreed at the time of order
Warranty Claim Process
- Write to info@sesbatteries.com with your order reference, batch number, and a clear description of the issue observed
- Our engineering team will assess the reported fault and may request a sample return for physical inspection
- On confirmation of a valid warranty claim, SES will repair or replace the affected packs at no charge to the customer
- Return shipping costs for confirmed warranty units will be covered by SES
Limitation of Liability
SES’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products. SES shall not be liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from product failure, including equipment downtime, production loss, or third-party claims.
This warranty does not affect statutory rights available under applicable Indian law.
