SES Batteries was founded in 1991 in Ambala Cantt, Haryana — a city that sits at the intersection of India's defence corridor and its expanding industrial heartland. We started as Sealed Energy Systems with a single conviction: that India deserved a domestic battery manufacturer capable of building to global quality standards, not just claiming to.
The first decade was about foundation — processes, people, and the discipline to get things right before getting them fast. By the 2000s, we had earned the trust of sectors where a battery failure carries real consequences: defence, industrial, and healthcare.
Today, SES is a specialist. We manufacture in two verticals — medical healthcare batteries and OEM Smart Li-ion battery packs — and we go deep in both.
What We Do
At our facility in Ambala Cantt, every battery pack follows the same disciplined sequence: cell selection, assembly, BMS configuration, protection circuit validation, and final quality clearance. We work across 18650, 21700, pouch, and prismatic cell formats.
We do not outsource assembly. We do not source cells without batch verification. We do not dispatch a pack we have not validated against your device's actual load profile. That is not a marketing statement — it is how we have kept customers for decades.
